Shruti Rao

I’m an academic professional who leads program management and higher-education operations for working professionals at an international level. In my current role as a Manager for Quality Assurance & Institutional Effectiveness, I manage academic operations and programs by implementing compliant processes aligned to academic integrity and quality. I also put structured SOPs in place to streamline curriculum and maintain delivery standards.

I’m deeply focused on the end-to-end student experience. I evaluate feedback purposefully to drive continuous improvements, and I foster faculty and student engagement through student and faculty orientations, global student support, student counseling, conflict management, and curriculum management. I also coordinate research and dissertation processes for Master’s programs to ensure academic excellence and timely completion, while strengthening university compliance through clear execution of standards.

Previously, as Head of Operations & Marketing, I led operations while driving measurable business and service outcomes. I developed dashboards and reports to monitor unit performance, boosted EBITDA and profitability through inventory governance and cost optimization, and improved procurement efficiency by optimizing vendor selection and reducing logistics turnaround time. I also developed and implemented policies while ensuring statutory and regulatory compliances, supported budget management and workflow optimization, and managed staff to enhance patient care.

Earlier in my career, I built a strong operations foundation and leadership toolkit through roles at Wipro, including Team Lead. I managed a team of 15+ in the Work Requests Division, supported process improvements that reduced turnaround time and increased efficiency, and contributed to a retail transformation initiative involving data migration to SAP. I was recognized for marketing leadership with a lateral move, earned “Best Quality Team Q2,” and completed the “Train the Trainer (T3)” certification as a corporate trainer. Today, I’m also pursuing advanced education in data science and machine learning and an executive program in corporate and business law to strengthen how I make decisions and improve systems.
