Shikha Sharma

I am an experienced data analyst with a strong background in analytics and machine intelligence. I hold a Master of Professional Studies in Analytics with a focus on Applied Machine Intelligence from Northeastern University. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained expertise in data analysis using Python, including libraries such as NumPy, Scikit-learn, and Beautiful Soup. I am also proficient in R, specifically ggplot2 and shiny R.

My skills extend beyond data analysis to include tech tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, MS Office, and Microsoft Power Automate. I have a solid foundation in database management, particularly SQL. I have successfully completed several projects that showcase my analytical capabilities, including enhancing insights through tech professional survey data analysis with Power BI, analyzing the financial performance of Canadian companies using Python, and conducting online retail database analysis using SQL.

In addition to my technical skills, I have gained practical experience as a Student Assistant at Northeastern University's Office of Global Services. In this role, I have addressed daily inquiries, conducted data analysis, and contributed to event planning projects. I have also completed a remote data automation internship at Springer Capital, where I generated reports, implemented automation processes, and crafted targeted presentations to enhance candidate acquisition and experience. Prior to that, I worked as a Customer Service Representative at ET Group, where I achieved high data entry accuracy and collaborated on innovative solutions to improve market performance.
