Built the People function from the ground up at a frontier AI startup, scaling talent, systems, and culture in lockstep with growth. Scaled the technical team 3x in under three months by building the recruiting engine from scratch, including Ashby ATS setup and H1B visa sponsorships.

Built out the foundation of the HR department for a Public Relations agency, achieving growth from 10 employees to 21 in 8 months. Managed HR operations, including biweekly payroll processing via ADP for 21 employees located in US & UK, and resolved employee relations conflicts as a neutral mediator.

Developed technical talent sourcing and hiring strategy to fill hard-to-fill engineering positions. Recruited and built out a team of six software engineers of varying levels to bolster support for the MAX platform.

Responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting top-tier candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and diversity events. Managed the progression of candidates in the Workday pipeline, ensuring timely import of interviewer feedback and accurate candidate status.

Launched a monthly corporate newsletter that showcased diversity and cultural events, internal achievements, and employee spotlights. Assisted supervising agent by handling scheduling, managing Outlook calendars, and submitting clients for auditions.

Obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, demonstrating expertise in human resources principles and practices. This certification enhances the ability to lead and implement effective HR strategies.
