Assist students with emotional, social, spiritual, and academic needs through SEL services for grades K–4. Conduct suicide risk assessments, provide crisis support as needed, support teachers, and provide SEL-related staff trainings.

Support classroom instruction and daily activities by assisting teachers with lessons and engaging children to enhance learning. Maintain classroom safety and provide instructional and behavioral support while communicating with students about lessons.

Manage a caseload of 8 families and conduct documented risk and safety assessments. Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions (including CBT and trauma-focused CBT) and create referrals for community resources.

Investigate child abuse and neglect allegations and refer families to intervention services. Participate in professional staffings to support effective services for at-risk families.

Conduct therapeutic interventions and create treatment plans and updates for clients ages 5–17. Facilitate medication management groups and therapeutic family visitations for clients in the child welfare system.

Facilitate social skills, conflict management, and truancy prevention groups for at-risk youth ages 13–21. Conduct home visits and assist with brief counseling, child abuse assessments, and multidisciplinary staffings with school mental health counselor and school psychologist.

Provide HIV pre-test counseling and deliver pre- and post-test counseling, including communication of confirmed positive test results. Assist newly diagnosed clients with connecting to health care and support services.

Earned a Master of Social Work from Florida International University. Received a Title IV-E Child Welfare stipend (received December 2016).

Earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Florida Memorial University (received December 2011).
