What I'm looking for

I am looking for a role that allows me to support individuals in crisis, foster a collaborative environment, and continue my professional development in mental health.

I am a dedicated mental health counselor with extensive experience in providing empathetic support to individuals in crisis. Currently, I work as a Warmline Counselor at the Mental Health Association of San Francisco, where I utilize active listening and motivational interviewing to create a safe space for help-seekers. My role involves assessing suicide risk, adapting to crisis situations, and empowering individuals through a strengths-based approach.

Previously, I served as a Crisis Support Counselor at Alter Health Group, where I provided emotional support and facilitated safety plans for callers experiencing suicidal ideation. My experience also includes coordinating large-scale events and conducting research in cognitive psychology, which has honed my organizational and analytical skills. I am committed to continuous learning and growth in the mental health field, and I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of those I support.
