Motivated meteorology graduate skilled in weather forecasting and data analysis.
What I'm looking for
I am a motivated and detail-oriented meteorology graduate with a strong foundation in weather forecasting, data analysis, and scientific communication. My academic journey at the Florida Institute of Technology has equipped me with the skills necessary to produce public forecasts, conduct tropical cyclone research, and effectively present my findings at major conferences. I have a proven track record of leadership as the Vice President of the AMS Florida Tech Chapter and as a certified Skywarn storm spotter.
During my internship at NickelBlock Forecasting, I published over 70 public forecasts, collaborated with a team of student forecasters, and developed forecast graphics using Python and Excel. My research experience includes investigating the influence of the Madden-Julian Oscillation on cyclone formation, where I utilized OpenGrADS to analyze storm structures in the Indian Ocean. I am passionate about atmospheric science, environmental policy, and climate-related research, and I strive to contribute positively to these fields.
