Sergio Zúñiga

I’m a Clinical Project Management professional with a strong foundation in physical therapy and a clear passion for technology and data. I currently work as an Assistant Clinical Project Manager, combining healthcare knowledge with administrative and technological expertise to keep projects moving with confidence.

In my current role, I co-manage project administration and optimize how timelines are tracked for general medicine projects. I maintain, review, and communicate project progress to stakeholders, ensuring development stays aligned with project timelines and deliverables.

Previously, as a Customer Care Representative for cardiac safety and imaging studies, I supported medical personnel with advanced troubleshooting for medical equipment, including Electrocardiogram, Endoscopy, and Holter machines. I also managed portal access and permissions for study nurses and doctors, coordinating requests and communication across multiple channels with pharmaceutical sponsors and internal teams.

I also bring an analytical mindset from earlier experience as a Data Analyst / Performance Statistician, where I collected, analyzed, and interpreted performance statistics to support strategic decisions in team handball during the Juegos Nacionales XXXVI. I’m a proactive, adaptable, and continuous learner, interested in clinical research, data science, cybersecurity, and the arts—always approaching new challenges with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
