At New Mexico Highlands University, I support the Athletic Director across department operations, travel, purchasing, contracts, facilities, and events for 11 NCAA Division II teams. I moved from Business Operations Manager to Athletics Chief of Staff with expanded authority.
I led the Spirit Store relocation and renovation from assignment to opening in four months, completing the build-out, retail fixtures, mobile merchandise trailer, and opening inventory on a $47,000 budget. In its first year, annual revenue grew 169%, from about $35K to $94K+, and concessions revenue more than doubled after I rebuilt staffing and stocking.
I oversee 126+ team travel projects and plan 80+ athletic events and university functions each year. I also recruit, schedule, and supervise up to 50 student workers, and coordinate with campus teams and vendors to keep initiatives moving.
