What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can teach psychology through engaging lab-based learning, supervise dissertations, and apply neuropsychological assessment and rigorous research methods to improve mental-health practice and outcomes.

I’m a former assessment clinician/consultant turned psychology educator with a passion for teaching and research. I bring 3 years of experience instructing people in different aspects of mental health and psychology, supported by 2 1/2 years of research experience.

As a Lecturer in Psychology at De Montfort University Dubai, I teach Biological Psychology, Statistics in Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Cognitive Neuropsychology, and I run lab-based learning activities alongside office hours, grading, and exam support. I also supervise 6 dissertation projects covering both quantitative and qualitative approaches, helping students translate research design into clear, publishable outcomes.

Previously, I supported faculty at New York University (Abu Dhabi) and helped deliver teaching seminars, recitations, and lab-based learning, including Biological Psychology, Statistics in Psychology, and Clinical Neuropsychology. Earlier roles included assessment work and educational consulting through NeuroSey, training for families and caregivers in Seychelles, and research coordination (including assisting with data collection, entry, and analysis) as part of national early childhood initiatives.
