At Community Development Authority, I provide family counseling and psychological support to parents and families of children and People of Determination. I assess family circumstances and support needs to inform individualized counseling plans.
I guide parents on their children’s developmental, behavioral, psychological, educational, social, and recreational needs, and help families adapt to disability-related and developmental challenges. I also coordinate with therapists and other professionals to facilitate access to appropriate services.
Previously, at Human Relations Institute & Clinics, I provided individual and group counseling and assessed clients’ psychological needs. At Aleppo University –Faculty of Education, I taught psychology and psychological counseling and supervised practical training in schools, special education settings, care homes, orphanages, and mental health hospitals.
