What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a challenging position where I can utilize my education and experience, using my strengths in customer service, front-desk support, and accurate data entry to keep operations running smoothly.

I’m a Library Assistant III with the County of Tulare (February 2015–present), where I handle front-desk customer service, greet patrons, and manage check in and out. I answered phones, completed data entry, assisted patrons on computers, and helped them find books and materials.

Earlier, I built strong accuracy and productivity as a Data Transcriber for the Internal Revenue Service (March 2008–June 2014 and February 1993–May 2003). I used 10-key, typed, input information into main frame computer systems, key verified other employees’ work, and met and exceeded quotas.

I also bring broad clerical and service experience—from call-center customer support at Alorica to receiving and inventory-type work, and Office Assistant duties with the County of Fresno. I’m certified in Office Assistant Applications from Fresno City College, with training in Microsoft Word and Excel, and I type about 62 words per minute using 10-key by touch.
