What I'm looking for

I’m looking for remote, US-hours support work where I can strengthen help desk fundamentals and grow into SOC/security operations. I want hands-on workflows with clear documentation expectations, measurable incident response outcomes, and supportive mentorship.

I’m a detail-oriented IT Support and Cybersecurity professional, completing my Bachelor’s in Networking with Cybersecurity at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean. I’m remote-ready for US business hours and focused on delivering immediate, practical value—whether that’s help desk support or junior SOC work.

I bring 500+ hours of structured, hands-on virtual lab experience across CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, and IBM platforms. My work spans help desk fundamentals, Active Directory, Azure security, SIEM operations, and incident response—built to feel like real-world IT operations.

On the technical side, I’ve practiced Active Directory and Windows Server administration, Linux systems administration, and identity & access management (IAM). I also built real security workflows using SIEM concepts (Microsoft Sentinel), KQL-based threat detection, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Microsoft Purview for data security and compliance management.

Most importantly, I communicate clearly, document thoroughly, and stay calm under pressure. I’m fluent in English (City & Guilds certified) and I enjoy turning findings into actionable reports—so teams can detect issues early, contain fast, and remediate with confidence.
