What I'm looking for

Seeking a collaborative environment that values analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with opportunities for growth and development in front-end development and UI/UX.

I'm a mobile and frontend developer who has spent my whole career at startups, usually owning a product end to end: design, code, releases, and the business decisions in between.

Today I lead technical delivery at FishTrak, building mobile and device solutions for Atlantic Canada's commercial fishing industry. I build React Native/Expo apps that work offline at sea and meet Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) compliance requirements, and I manage dedicated Android device fleets. I built a custom launcher, cut device provisioning from 7 steps to about 3 using Android Device Owner APIs and SOTI MobiControl, and set up release pipelines on AWS and GCP.

Before that, I spent three years at Comuniverse, a language-learning platform, where I grew from junior developer to owning most of the product. I led a full UI overhaul in Vue.js, designed new sign-up and usage flows, and used UX research (usability testing, competitive analysis, and AI heatmap analysis) to guide decisions. A dashboard I designed increased team leader engagement by 24%. I also did QA for regulated iGaming software, which shaped how I test and ship today.

I work fluently in English and Brazilian Portuguese, and I'm looking for a remote startup role where I can own mobile or frontend product work end to end. I'm open to any industry, and I'm especially strong in products that need offline-first apps, device management, or regulatory compliance.

Technical lead and full-stack mobile developer on FishTrak, used by 300 Canadian commercial fishermen. Upgraded the app from Expo 44 to 55 with zero data loss, led a zero-downtime AWS-to-GCP migration, built a Kotlin Android launcher for remote fleet management, and grew the test suite from 0 to 2,000+ tests. Shipped offline-first sibling apps to both stores with EAS.
