Rebeca Finger-Bou

Applied linguist and project management professional leveraging AI for EdTech and research impact.
What I'm looking for
I’m an applied linguist with hands-on experience in academic project management, university teaching, e-learning content production, and advanced use of AI tools. I’ve demonstrated my ability to lead institutional bodies, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and communicate effectively across academic and professional contexts.
In my current role, I represent PhD students across steering, ethics, and coexistence committees, and I lead the organisation of the annual doctoral research and dissemination conference. I also manage council communications, social media strategy, meeting minutes, and follow-up on agreements—ensuring reliable coordination from planning through delivery.
Alongside teaching and instructional design, I conduct applied linguistics research using quantitative and experimental methodologies (including EEG and eye-tracking) and I apply generative AI to university teaching and research through certified training. My international research stay and ongoing applied research training strengthen my focus on measurable learning outcomes and responsible AI-enabled innovation.
