Raymond van Gend

My name is Raymond van Gend, and I am an experienced retail manager with a proven track record in leading teams and managing store operations. Since September 2019, I have been the store manager at Aldi, where I have successfully overseen the renovation and setup of a new location in Dordrecht. I take pride in my ability to implement new ICT systems and train other store managers in their use, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across our region.

Prior to my role at Aldi, I served as an assistant store manager at Lidl and a team leader at HEMA, where I honed my skills in team building, planning, and customer service. My educational background includes a dual HBO program in education, which has equipped me with the skills to manage and educate effectively. I am passionate about fostering a positive work environment and developing future leaders in the retail sector.
