Raphael Steinwandel
@raphaelsteinwandel
Artist and project coordinator blending cultural heritage, research, and intercultural exchange.
What I'm looking for
I work as a cultural practitioner and artist at the intersection of contemporary art, cultural heritage, and intercultural exchange. My background in Cultural Studies and African Studies shapes how I develop projects—always with a research-informed, socially attentive approach.
In freelance roles, I support artistic production end-to-end, including coordination, production logistics, and installation for public performances. I’ve contributed to large-scale, interdisciplinary projects and helped bring creative concepts into realized exhibitions and events.
I also create and coordinate site-specific work. Through project-based planning and creative workshops, I support teams in translating ideas into shared, public-facing experiences.
Earlier experience includes archival and collections work, where I assisted with cataloguing, documentation, inventory, and workshop/conference logistics. I bring qualitative research skills and strong archival documentation practices to ensure projects are grounded, organized, and thoughtfully communicated.
