I’m a Senior Backend Engineer with 14+ years of experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservices. I’m especially strong in Golang, event-driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on building high-volume backend services that improve reliability at scale.
At Flix, I designed and built a Voucher Management Service in Golang handling more than €10M in vouchers with high reliability, deployed on AWS EKS with Kubernetes orchestration. I also built customer communication and multi-country notification pipelines using REST APIs, and implemented MSAL-based Single Sign-On along with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and ArgoCD for continuous deployment on Kubernetes.
I’ve delivered large-scale platform features across teams and geographies, including at Gelato and Sixt SE. I increased automated test coverage from 20% to 90% at Gelato and built Golang microservices for inventory systems supporting millions of SKUs. Earlier, I developed payment and account microservices, built 3D Secure payment flows, and migrated legacy monoliths to Kafka-based event-driven Golang microservices architecture on AWS EKS.
