Ralph Schimpf

I lead the implementation, integration, and operation of mission-critical banking systems, with more than 15 years across payments, compliance, finance, regulatory reporting, GRC, and middleware.

As Managing Director of pro metam Sàrl-s, I provide IT consulting and support throughout the product lifecycle. I also work as a Principal Consultant, implementing GRC tools for major German banks across Tax and MaRisk Compliance, BCM, TPRM, and ISMS.

Previously, I held end-to-end product responsibility for core banking applications across Continental Europe, managing implementation, rollout, operation, requirements backlogs, governance, and risk in an international SAFe environment. I have also managed a portfolio of around 50 European banking applications, including payments, clearing, regulatory reporting, and compliance.

I'm certified in IT security, test management, business continuity, Scrum, and critical-infrastructure responsibility. I translate business and regulatory requirements—including DORA—into robust, audit-proof solutions while coordinating cross-functional and nearshore teams.
