I have more than 8 years work experience in property & casuality insurance claims team as a  senior Claim Officer, handling property & marine cargo claims (Fire, MBD, Miscellaneous, Contractor’s Plant & Machinery, Business interruption, Industrial All Risk (IAR), Erection All Risk (EAR), Contractor’s All Risk (CAR), Marine cargo inland policy) with below key responsibilities.

Receiving the claim intimation, and completing the 64vb formalities like confirming from underwriting team & account team.

Examine the policy regarding loss coverage and then appoint surveyor and follow-up for ILA & LOR.        

Continuously taking follow up from surveyor/ broker for FSR and claim documents.

Drafting claim note for final approval from competent authority.

Asking for DV/ NOC from broker and insured to settle the claim.

Preparing assessment letter and No Claim letter and send it to broker & insured.

Prepare IRDA data monthly quarterly and annually.
