What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue developing products and complex tooling from concept through manufacture, solving practical DFM and production challenges while collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.

At JC Moulding / Peter Jones ILG, I design complex injection mould tools for high-volume consumer products, including multi-component, insert-moulding, and over-mould solutions. Within my first year, I designed over 130 production tools while improving mouldability, cycle times, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

Previously at Gawler Tapes & Plastics, I led technical development from concept to production launch, helped grow customer accounts beyond £250k annual revenue, and improved manufacturing efficiency by 42% through production optimisation. I bring hands-on experience in specifications, material selection, feasibility studies, cost analysis, validation testing, and production implementation.

I enjoy solving practical engineering problems through CAD, DFM, testing, FEA, rapid prototyping, and clear technical documentation. I work closely with customers, suppliers, toolmakers, and production teams to deliver commercially successful products.
