What I'm looking for

I’m looking to support clinicians with compassionate patient care and accurate phlebotomy, keeping workflows organized through patient scheduling, clear education, and reliable documentation—so patients get safe, timely testing and treatment.

I’m an efficient, detail-oriented Medical Assistant with 3 years of experience in patient care and phlebotomy within healthcare settings. I take vital signs, administer medications under direction, and perform laboratory testing—especially specimen collection.

Currently, I work as a Phlebotomist at PST LabCorp in a PST site, collecting blood samples using multiple needle sizes and understanding the order of draw and tube rules. I label and prepare specimens for shipping, invert and centrifuge necessary tubes, see 25 to 60 patients per day, and complete drug screens while maintaining required temperature documentation.

Previously, I supported physicians and nurses at Texas Diabetes & Endocrinology and Pediatrics LONESTAR CIRCLE OF CARE. I roomed at least 90–100 patients a day, prepared exam rooms, performed basic lab tests, and educated patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions, including pediatric patients from newborn to 17 years old.

I began building my clinical foundation through a Medical Assistant Trainee program at CyberTex, where I learned documentation, medical records, and medical billing and coding tasks, along with the essentials of phlebotomy and preforming EKGs. Earlier, I worked as an Eligibility Specialist/Customer Service Rep, which strengthened my patient communication, insurance verification, and attention to detail.
