What I'm looking for

I seek a client-centered role providing therapeutic recreation and supports for people with ID/DD, TBI, or mental health needs, with opportunities for program development, community integration, and collaborative interdisciplinary work.

I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and Qualified Intellectual Disability Provider (QIDP) with hands-on experience delivering community and inpatient recreation therapy across physical rehab, mental health, geriatrics, pediatrics, and TBI care. I have led individual and group interventions, organized large community outings, and supported service planning for people with ID/DD while maintaining strong clinical documentation and safety-focused practice.

My background includes a B.S. in Recreation Therapy (magna cum laude), a 560-hour internship in inclusive recreation, and roles as an Independent Supports Coordinator and Recreation Therapist where I linked clients to Medicaid services, developed treatment goals, and provided crisis intervention. I bring a client-centered approach, strong program development experience, and a track record of improving engagement and independence for diverse populations.
