I’m looking to lead Java cloud-native platform teams—owning architecture for microservices and event-driven systems, mentoring engineers, and delivering measurable reliability (uptime, quality gates, test coverage) in a collaborative, stakeholder-aligned environment.

I’m a Java-based development manager and hands-on engineering leader with over 20 years of experience delivering scalable solutions across Payments, Banking & Financial Services (BFSI), Telecom, Retail Marketplace, US Healthcare (Insurance), and HR domains. I design enterprise-grade distributed systems and build high-performance teams that ship reliably.

In recent work at Wayfair via Canterr (L4 IC), I led the architecture and design of an Inventory Management & Visibility platform for a high-scale retail ecosystem. I designed microservices using Java and Spring Boot with Kafka, built GraphQL and REST APIs, deployed containerized services on GCP (GKE—Kubernetes), and optimized Elasticsearch queries with caching strategies. I kept technical boundaries at 99% clean using SOLID Principles, drove platform uptime > 99.9%, improved SonarCode quality gates from 70% to 85%, and reduced minimal failure rates by raising code coverage from 80% to 85%.

I’ve also managed teams of up to 16+ engineers, including offshore teams, owning roadmap planning, sprint execution, performance reviews, mentoring, and stakeholder alignment across Product, QA, Architecture, and US/UK clients. My approach blends Agile delivery (Scrum, Kanban, TDD) with strong engineering practices in microservices/SOA/DDDs, backed by measurable outcomes, clean architecture, and continuous improvement.
