My work spans cloud database operations, availability, security, backup and recovery, performance tuning, replication, migrations, and production support.
At Cognizant, I managed AWS RDS and Amazon Aurora MySQL, implemented high-availability architectures including Galera Cluster and GTID replication, migrated databases through AWS DMS, and automated DBA operations with Terraform, Ansible, Bash, and cron. I've also improved query performance through indexing and execution-plan analysis, built monitoring with PMM and Nagios, and mentored junior DBAs during 24x7 production operations.
