At Cognizant Technology Solutions, I administer PostgreSQL databases and clusters across development, UAT, and production environments. I support PostgreSQL on AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL, monitoring database health and CloudWatch metrics.
On the Apple Enterprise PostgreSQL Database Operations project, I supported high availability and disaster recovery through streaming replication, backups, and point-in-time recovery. I also analyzed queries with EXPLAIN and EXPLAIN ANALYZE, tuned performance, and participated in production incident support.
