Pavel Heimlich
@pavelheimlich
I build secure cloud platforms, automate compliance, and strengthen software delivery across complex enterprise systems.
What I'm looking for
At Oracle, I secured Private Cloud Appliance by reviewing features against OSSA policies, implementing SELinux, FIPS, and FedRAMP capabilities, and maintaining SAST in GitLab CI/CD. I also built and maintained Kubernetes-based cloud platform services, deployment tooling, upgrade orchestration, and release automation.
I've led adoption of security policies across products and created a virtualized developer environment for about 100 engineers, cutting hardware waits from days or weeks to minutes and reducing build failures by about two-thirds. My background spans Solaris security, vulnerability remediation, localization infrastructure, open-source maintenance, Terraform and Ansible automation, and mentoring engineers across large platform codebases.
