What I'm looking for

I’m looking to build and scale React/Next.js full-stack products with strong type safety, fast iteration, and accessibility built-in. I want an agile, remote-first team that values testing, collaboration, and thoughtful use of AI to ship better software.

I’m a full-stack developer with 5 years building production-grade applications for clients—including Fortune 100/500 teams. I thrive in agile, remote-first environments, delivering reliable features with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js.

At Sparq (formerly Rural Sourcing), I led a greenfield React frontend rewrite for a mission-critical ADOM application, replacing legacy behavior at scale with improved performance and maintainability. I also shipped client-facing features across Fortune 100/500 engagements and strengthened production stability in an Electron application with targeted testing.

Earlier, as a Software / Web Accessibility Engineer at Principal Financial Group, I audited and remediated WCAG issues across a large enterprise portfolio. I implemented accessibility improvements in React, JavaScript, and Backbone—reducing violations and supporting inclusive user experiences.

I bring a test-driven mindset (TDD with Playwright, React Testing Library, and Jest), type-safe data access (Prisma ORM, PostgreSQL), and schema validation (Zod). I’m also an active adopter of AI-assisted development workflows (Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Cursor) to iterate fast while staying calm under pressure.
