Brian Hopper

I’m a Full-Stack Software Engineer and Technical Project Lead focused on delivering production-ready platforms in regulated environments. I currently lead development and delivery for a multi-client corrections commissary platform approaching production launch.

My work combines front-end delivery and platform architecture: four React/Next.js frontends on a shared TypeScript monorepo backed by a .NET 9 REST API. I serve as technical lead and project manager—owning Jira backlog prioritization, sprint planning, stakeholder alignment, and cross-team coordination with product and QA.

I build enterprise-grade UIs for both desktop and kiosk form factors, using PrimeReact, TanStack Query/Table, React Hook Form, and Zustand to handle complex forms, validation, permissions, and data tables. I integrate to the backend through OpenAPI-generated TypeScript clients and typed API contracts, supporting facility-scoped permissions and multi-tenant data access patterns.

I also contribute deeply to reliability and deployment readiness with PostgreSQL + Entity Framework Core, Redis sessions/caching, Hangfire background jobs, and Docker/Kubernetes. For quality, I drive release readiness with Playwright E2E tests, Vitest unit tests, accessibility work, and kiosk deployment via a Node.js daemon for on-site hardware peripherals.
