I’m looking for a team where I can own frontend architecture and design systems, ship accessible, data-dense products, and partner on full-stack initiatives—while driving measurable performance, accessibility, and developer experience improvements.

@codywilson
Self-taught senior frontend engineer with 10 years of experience building accessible, data-dense interfaces that people love to use.
What I'm looking for
I'm a senior frontend engineer with 10 years of experience and a specific obsession: making complex, data-heavy interfaces feel intuitive for the people who have to use them every day.
My core stack is Vue.js, React, and TypeScript, and most of my career has been spent in the space where frontend architecture meets real user problems: component systems that scale, design tokens that enforce consistency, data tables that handle typed filters and sorts without falling apart, accessibility patterns that work because they were built-in, not bolted on.
Some things I've shipped that I'm proud of: a 1,000+ component Vue.js v2 → Vue.js v3 migration at Thermo Fisher that cut CI build times by 83% and became the foundation for a new component library used across our data science team. A multi-tenant RBAC and authentication system built from scratch in NestJS and PostgreSQL. A real-time technician dispatch map using MapBox and DeckGL. A design system migration currently underway across two healthcare SaaS products simultaneously.
I've also spent meaningful time on the things that make engineering teams better beyond the code itself — writing frontend standards documentation, mentoring engineers on accessibility and component API design, and doing the unglamorous work of establishing patterns that other people can follow without asking.
I'm self-taught with 10 years of professional experience. No CS degree, no bootcamp — just a decade of building real things for real users and caring about getting it right.
I'm currently open to remote senior and staff-level frontend roles. Particularly interested in roles where the frontend work is technically demanding — complex data interfaces, component systems, accessibility-serious products, and teams that care about how the code is structured, not just that it ships.
