Paola Rivera

As a dedicated college student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Political Science at the University of South Florida, I am eager to leverage my academic background and diverse experiences in a professional setting. My role as a Selling Associate at Victoria's Secret & Co. has honed my customer service skills, allowing me to effectively assist and engage with a multicultural clientele. I pride myself on my ability to multitask and maintain a positive shopping experience for customers, demonstrating my commitment to excellence in every interaction.

In addition to my work experience, I have actively participated in various leadership roles within Gamma Phi Beta, where I served as the New Member Educator and currently as the Membership Vice President. These positions have equipped me with strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to foster a sense of community among members. My involvement in the Criminology Club and other organizations has further enhanced my teamwork and communication abilities, preparing me for collaborative environments.

My upcoming internship with Congresswoman Kathy Castor's office will provide me with valuable insights into legislative processes and constituent engagement. I am excited to apply my adaptability and global awareness, gained through my studies abroad in Florence, Italy, to contribute meaningfully to your organization.
