At Western Truck Body MFG. ULC, I built a full-cycle HR function from scratch, creating policies, hiring and onboarding processes, and employee programs. I also guide managers on employee relations and lead internal labour relations.
At WCB Alberta, I managed complex workers’ compensation claims and developed recovery and return-to-work strategies with workers, employers, and treatment providers. Earlier, I contributed to the Employment Standards Act and led workforce development work for Alberta’s trucking and logistics industry through the Alberta Motor Transport Association.
I care about making workplaces fair, safe, and functional, and about building systems that serve both people and organizations. My work has included saving over $10M in WCB premiums for Alberta’s trucking industry and leading the logistics industry’s Alberta COVID-19 response plan.
