What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a team where I can own backend architecture for distributed systems, build reliable production services, and mentor engineers—especially where cross-platform integration and long-term system evolution matter.

I’m a software engineer with extensive experience designing, developing, and managing complex software systems and products. I bring hands-on depth in Rust, Dart, and Swift, with a strong focus on backend development, distributed and peer-to-peer systems, networking, and cross-platform/native application development.

Since Feb 2022, I’ve served as Principal Software Engineer / Engineering Lead on Catalyst, a blockchain-based governance and voting platform on Cardano. I designed and implemented the core distributed backend architecture in Rust—async event-driven services, a P2P networking layer, and blockchain integration modules—while shaping long-term direction through architecture decisions on data modeling, API contracts, service boundaries, and state management. I also contributed cross-platform architecture using shared Rust code and integration layers (FFI/Wasm) between backend services and the Dart/Flutter codebase, and I owned production reliability through incident response, observability instrumentation, CI/CD pipelines, and operational runbooks.

I’m equally comfortable leading full lifecycle delivery as a principal engineer for backend, blockchain, cross-platform, and native apps, partnering with founders and senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable systems. Earlier, I led multi-platform client architecture and performance-focused delivery at EPAM Systems, and I also led product-lifecycle engineering in a venture-studio environment at Heartbeat Labs and R&D leadership at Aimbulance—where reliability, operability, and maintainable engineering practices were always part of the job.
