I’m a Java Developer with 5 years of experience designing and building scalable backend systems. I focus on maintainable microservices, strong API contracts, and high-performance communication that stands up in production.

In my recent work at Vanguard, I’ve developed microservices with Spring Boot and JPA, built secure RESTful APIs with robust validation, exception handling, and logging, and implemented asynchronous processing with Apache Kafka (plus JMS where needed). I also integrate caching with Redis to improve responsiveness and reduce database load, and I build persistence layers with Hibernate for complex data operations across PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

I’ve led modernization efforts by migrating legacy components into containerized microservices using Docker and deploying them into Kubernetes for cloud-native scalability. On the infrastructure side, I manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, SNS, and IAM policies to keep environments secure and highly available.

I’m also practical about delivery: I contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Git, and SonarQube, and I lean on TDD with JUnit and Mockito to ensure reliability. My broader toolkit spans messaging platforms (Kafka/JMS/RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ/IBM MQ), strong testing habits, and a front-end integration mindset (React/Angular) when the work demands it.
