What I'm looking for

I seek a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and supports research opportunities.

I am an Assistant Professor of Physics and Engineering at Wheeling University, where I have been teaching since August 2017. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from Panjab University, followed by a Master of Science and a PhD in Applied Physics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. My passion for education drives me to design engaging courses, transitioning them from traditional formats to fully online platforms.

During my postdoctoral research at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, I honed my skills in data extraction and analysis, working with large datasets from X-ray telescopes. My work led to the identification of a significant feature in the spectra of a binary star, culminating in a publication in Nature Astronomy. I have presented my findings at various conferences, utilizing visualization tools to effectively communicate complex data.
