I'm a doctoral student in Welfare, Management and Health at the University of Eastern Finland, where I teach social policy, diversity, global perspectives, and health inequalities. My research examines migration, refugee and migrant families, child protection, mental health, and social wellbeing.
I've worked as a research assistant, project researcher, process evaluator, and project coordinator in Finland, and previously supported child protection, family preservation, hospital social work, legal services, and welfare employment programs in Australia. My published work includes Nordic gender equality, Eritrean parenting, forced-migrant mental health, migrant and refugee children, and immigration and out-of-home-care outcomes.
