Bilingual Parent Advocate at Charleston County School District, guiding families through enrollment, documentation, and service access.
What I'm looking for
At Charleston County School District’s Department of Multilingual Services, I’m a first point of contact for families navigating enrollment, services, and community resources. I guide families through documentation and follow-up, identify barriers, and clarify manageable next steps.
I also prepare multilingual parent materials and orientations, including Portuguese-language guidance, and coordinate with school staff, district departments, and community partners to connect families with support.
At Trinity Montessori School, I supported preschool and elementary-aged children across classroom, summer-program, and after-school settings. I collaborated with teachers and specialists on individualized strategies and communicated with families about children’s needs and progress.
My B.A. in Psychology and CITI Social & Behavioral Researcher certification ground my work in child development, research ethics, and family-centered support. I’m applying my intake coordination experience to behavioral health services in a telehealth setting, and I speak fluent English and Portuguese, with developing Spanish.
