I’ve supported Hausa-speaking communities through English–Hausa interpretation, health communication, and culturally sensitive counselling for SWAA Nigeria / Family Health International and the Grassroots Health Organization of Nigeria.
During GHON’s “Kick Malaria Out” and reproductive health projects, I explained testing, prevention, consent, and available services in accessible language. I also conducted VCT pre-test and post-test counselling and worked with community leaders to build trust and improve participation in health programs.
I bring additional remote client-engagement experience from GlowUp Wellness Spa, Premier Homes Realty, and Glotrade Platform Limited, handling customer questions, bookings, outbound calls, lead qualification, appointments, and follow-up records.
I communicate clearly in Hausa and English, adapt messages for different audiences, protect confidentiality, and am ready to apply my language and cultural knowledge to new tools, remote workflows, and AI-related work.
