Namrata Prashar

I'm a final-year Ph.D. Bioinformatics researcher at SRMIST, Kattankulathur, building custom Bash and Python scripts for molecular dynamics and high-throughput molecular docking workflows.

My work combines structural bioinformatics, computational drug discovery, and rigorous biological data validation. I've supported molecular oncology research at Adyar Cancer Institute through advanced HPLC workflows and investigated Bryophyllum's role in high blood pressure through literature review and structural bioinformatics methods.

I've published research on therapeutic peptides against SARS-CoV-2 in 3 Biotech and co-authored a Springer book chapter on genomic and proteomic techniques in industrial microbiology.

I also teach computational biology as a Resource Person and co-organized a molecular docking and dynamics workshop at SRMIST. I'm interested in applying genetic engineering, machine learning, and data analysis to improve the accuracy, coherence, and publication-readiness of scientific manuscripts.
