I build product software, and I design it too.
Most of my work has been on dense product surfaces: consoles and dashboards where a lot of state has to stay legible on one screen, and where the hard part is making something complicated feel simple. React and TypeScript on the client, Node, Express and PostgreSQL behind it.
I have usually been the only person minding design on the products I work on. A styleguide arrives, the designer moves on, and the rest is mine. That means the interface, the design system and the motion, and then building what I designed.
I also work AI-natively. Most of that turns out to be verification, so I build the gates: automated compliance checks, deterministic validators and headless browser QA. Generated output has to be provably correct before it ships.
