I’m a full-stack engineer with 5+ years of experience, and the part of the job I find most rewarding is taking a product that has outgrown its first version and helping it grow up: making it faster, safer, and able to handle real load. I like owning things end to end, from the database schema and APIs to the UI, deployment, and monitoring, because that’s where you see the whole picture.
For the past year I worked as a Senior Engineer on a mobile polling app for a US political research company, used by voters across all 50 states. When the app could no longer rely on talking to Supabase directly, I designed and built a new NestJS backend from scratch and moved the critical business logic there. After that came the work that turns “it works” into “it works in production”. I brought core endpoints down from ~2.4 s to ~430 ms, cut multi-million-row imports from hours to minutes, stopped the map from failing under load, and closed an access gap between teams. I also set up Docker, GitHub Actions CI/CD to AWS ECS, and Datadog + CloudWatch monitoring.
I care about technical work turning into real results for the business and for the people using the product. I took a parking marketplace MVP to production in 6 months, partly by working with the client to cut what didn’t need to be there. I’ve integrated payments with Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and an escrow flow on Mangopay, and shipped features that raised user and trainer earnings by 10–19%. I enjoy working directly with stakeholders, suggesting ideas that end up on the roadmap, and helping teammates grow through code review and mentoring. One of the things I’m proudest of is that all three interns I mentored were promoted to Junior within 5 months.
AI is part of my everyday toolkit: I use Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot for building features, refactoring, and tests. In the product itself, I integrated the OpenAI API to auto-categorize survey responses, which saved analysts about 25 hours a month.

I work comfortably in English and have communicated directly with US client stakeholders day to day, from discussing product priorities to proposing improvements that made it into the roadmap.
