What I'm looking for

I'm seeking a special education or inclusive teaching role where I can build student-centered classrooms, implement IEP supports, collaborate with families and educators, and continue pursuing Michigan teaching certification.

I've co-taught preschool classrooms at Primrose School, planning early literacy, math, and social-emotional learning for 3–4-year-olds while adapting instruction to individual needs.

During my 6th-grade inclusion placement, I supported students with IEPs alongside general education peers and gradually assumed full classroom responsibility across subject areas. I implemented accommodations, differentiated instruction, and helped cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom culture.

In a K–3 resource room, I delivered pull-out literacy and math instruction, developed individualized lessons aligned to IEP goals, monitored progress, and collaborated with teachers and related service providers.

I'm passionate about helping learners with diverse needs, including students on the autism spectrum, thrive in student-centered classrooms. I bring additional experience supporting an inclusive performing arts program for children on the autism spectrum.
