What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can communicate environmental science to the public, support diverse communities, and keep patients and clients informed—using strong relationship-building and careful, detail-oriented work.

I’m a recent B.S. graduate in Environmental Studies with a focus on communication in society, and I enjoy turning science into something people can understand. Through my Environmental Interpretation work, I’ve collaborated with a team of 8 to present the maple syrup process to the public, designed educational posters in Canva, and supported outreach at Maple Syrup Launch Day.

Alongside that, I work as a Translator for Interpreting Services, attending medical appointments to translate for Karen-speaking patients and advocating to help meet their needs. I also manage appointment records and prepare patients for what to expect by calling ahead.

I further strengthen my impact through patient-centered pharmacy work at Kinney Drugs as a Pharmacy Technician and Patient Advocate—advising patients on medication purposes, managing inventory and restocking, and accurately entering insurance information. I’ve also built teaching and communication skills through library tutoring (including for non-native English speakers) and scientific illustration for public-facing learning.
