Mohit Anturkar

I am a passionate linguist with a specialization in computational linguistics, driven by a fascination for Natural Language Processing (NLP) and speech technology. My journey in linguistics has been enriched by my native proficiency in Marathi, bilingual skills in Hindi, and professional proficiency in English. I am motivated to grow and make significant contributions in the field of linguistics.

Currently, I am working as a freelance linguist with IIT Delhi on the COILD project, collaborating with international clients such as Crunchlabs, Soul.ai, and Outliner. My experience spans various roles, including translation, localization, TTS, and linguistic evaluation. Previously, I served as a Content Curator at Thinkanalytics, where I curated metadata content for a Content Recommendation Engine, enhancing content for global clients like HBO and TataPlay.

My earlier role as a Marathi Linguist at PTW International involved working on a text-to-speech model, where I provided transcriptions and evaluated datasets. I also interned at CDAC, focusing on syntactic and semantic data model creation using Deep Learning. I am eager to leverage my skills and experiences to further advance in the linguistics domain.
