Sayali Khare

I am a linguist with over six years of experience at the intersection of Sanskrit, linguistics, and natural language processing (NLP). My journey has been marked by a proven ability in lexicography, content development, and digital humanities. Currently pursuing a PhD in Sanskrit at IIT Bombay, I focus on semantics and socio-linguistics, specifically disambiguating Sanskrit homonyms through contextual factors in Bhartṛhari’s Vākyapadīya.

Throughout my career, I have contributed to various projects, including my role as a Sanskrit Content Writer at Resanskrit Publications, where I have successfully written and proofread numerous articles and scripts. My collaboration with illustrators and external partners has allowed me to bring innovative projects to life. Additionally, my experience as a Project Research Assistant at IIT Bombay involved lexical data collection and working on NLP-related projects, further enhancing my expertise in the field.

My academic background includes a Master's degree in Linguistics from the University of Mumbai, where I developed a strong foundation in syntax, semantics, and phonology. I am passionate about leveraging my skills in linguistics and AI to contribute to meaningful projects that bridge the gap between language and technology.
