At Al-Futtaim Group, I lead legal support for Group Treasury, Financial Services and Fintech, with GC-equivalent responsibility for legal risk, strategy and external counsel management. I advise CEOs, boards and senior leadership while overseeing commercial, IP, M&A, compliance, privacy and cross-border finance matters.
I’ve led governance controls for Maya, the Group’s internal AI automation bot, and embedded privacy, consumer-protection and risk controls into AI-driven underwriting, scoring and fraud-detection systems. I also led the legal transition of a Mastercard-to-Visa co-branded card serving 100K+ cardholders and supported Blue Rewards, with 550K+ monthly active users.
Before Al-Futtaim, I founded and scaled Baker Chase LLP before selling the practice, served as Counsel at King & Spalding, and spent a decade as a Banking & Commercial Partner at Kuit Steinart Levy. I bring more than 20 years of experience building legal teams, negotiating complex transactions, and supporting regulated businesses across jurisdictions.
