What I'm looking for

I am looking for something like or similar to customer service or any sort of Admin/ data entry job. I am also open, however, to something new that involves computers or something that involves bikes (like bike mechanic or mountain bike building) as these are very interesting subjects to me

I have 2 and a half years of experience within the role of Customer Service, nearly 3 years and a half of admin and data entry, and over a year of experience working from home. I am a very hard-working individual who will go to every extent to make a situation right ranging from difficult customer queries to errors or problems within a system.I work well both alone and in a team. I have worked in both these environments, and both so far have been great.

I can work from home and I am looking to be able to work 100% from home. I have my own very high spec-built PC which I built myself along with a very good ethernet connection (500+mbps download, 70mbps upload). I am really fascinated by computers and so I have built many in the past, the one I am currently using is my 4th pc I have built myself from scratch. I have extensive knowledge of computers and how to use the Internet and so if I run into any problems, I am usually able to fix it without issues which really helps me to be punctual even though I am working from home. Due to this I am also able to adapt quickly to using a brand new system that I have never used before. I have my computer in my room where I have a door which locks so I can abide by the data protection act. Having previous experience in working from home I really do enjoy it as it allows me to be very independent (which I do prefer).

I have a lot of experience in both Customer service and data entry. When talking to a customer I always treat them with upmost respect. I tend to try to create a professional relationship with the customer in order for them to feel more comfortable speaking to me and put them more at ease which in turn allows the call to run more smoothly. Working for the UKs COVID helpline means I was always put under pressure and always had many calls come in per day. There have been times when I have received 100+ calls within an 8-hour shift, however that never deterred me. I have a lot of experience speaking to many individuals from all backgrounds and was able to gain more experience in my previous jobs to speak to people with many different disabilities which allowed me to understand how I can help anyone who needs assistance no matter who they are and what they may need.

Apart from customer service experience, I also have a lot of data entry experience. For the job that I am currently in, I take care of making sure people’s information are inputted correctly into the NHS’ GP’s databases. I make sure any changes that a patient makes to their records is updated correctly. Since I started this job, I always tried to become more efficient with my time, I always strived to do more work in less time while maintaining the quality of work done. I currently tend to maintain a production rate of over 120% a day, with a maximum production rate of 200%
