What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build secure, scalable cloud-native backend systems where I can drive DevSecOps, observability, API reliability, and high-volume transaction performance.

At KCB Bank Group, I build and optimize backend services for the VOOMA banking platform, supporting more than 500K daily transactions securely and reliably.

I've delivered event-driven systems for the Hustler Fund using Kafka and ActiveMQ, increasing backend throughput by 40%, and automated AML screening for Zamu Pay through Nice Actimize integration. I also implemented an API-based SMS Gateway for the KCB mobile app, enabling real-time alerts for 100K+ monthly transactions.

I drive reliable delivery through Azure DevOps, GitOps, DevSecOps, observability, and API documentation. Earlier, at NHIF, I improved claims-processing workflows and maintained 98%+ data accuracy.
