What I'm looking for

I seek a compassionate, learning-focused role in crisis services where I can provide suicide prevention, safety planning, and culturally responsive support while growing clinically.

I am an experienced peer recovery specialist and crisis counselor with extensive front-line work in chat, text, and phone-based crisis services, including NYC Well/NYC-988 and Centerstone. I have completed thousands of crisis interactions, created safety plans, conducted suicidal/homicidal assessments, coordinated emergency responses, and documented incidents clearly while supporting diverse populations.

I began my career as a media writer, producing high-volume content and developing strong communication and rapport-building skills that translate to clinical settings. I am trained in motivational interviewing, DBT/CBT techniques, de-escalation, mandated reporting, and substance-use assessment, and I am committed to delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care while continuing to learn and grow professionally.
