At JD. Lever Elementary, I plan programs around students’ individual needs and analyze screening, evaluation, and observation data to develop appropriate IEPs. I was chosen as a model classroom and serve as a compliance monitor, checking that teachers’ IEPs adhere to legal requirements.
At Sandhills Middle School, I develop IEPs, adapt curriculum and classrooms for students with varied disabilities, and create e-learning materials using Canva and Adobe Spark. I also held a partner teacher position to help new teachers succeed in the classroom.
