Melissa Rollins
@melissarollins
Special education para educator and juvenile justice professional, delivering behavior support, crisis management, and individualized student progress.
What I'm looking for
I provide critical, intensive support by implementing individual BIP’s and IEP’s, monitoring behavior, and managing crisis situations. I systematically collect data for progress monitoring, strengthen classroom management routines, and help students with academic task support such as reading, writing, and math.
I also bring deep youth-and-safety experience from supervising juvenile cases—monitoring behavior, conducting searches for contraband, documenting daily activities, and enforcing rules to maintain a safe environment. I’ve worked closely with officers, counselors, nurses, and families to implement individualized treatment plans, and I’m CPR certified; I was awarded “Super Staffer of the Month” in October 2022 and nominated/awarded JSO of the year(s) in 2008 and 2012.
